"Quran Everywhere" (the "App") is a free app for reading the Holy Quran, published by TN19N ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App stores and how it is used.
The App does not collect any personal information. It stores the following data on your device only:
Nothing in this list ever leaves your device, and none of it is transmitted to any server or third party.
Reading the Holy Quran works fully offline; the complete Quranic text (Arabic, with the translation for your app language) is bundled with the App. The App makes network requests only to:
cdn.islamic.network, which necessarily receives
your IP address in order to answer the request.
The App reports anonymous, aggregated usage statistics using PostHog, on servers in the European Union: app opens, which screens are visited, whether recitation was played or downloaded, and the App version and device type. PostHog also estimates an approximate location, down to the city, from the network address the request comes from; this is a city-level estimate, not your device's location. No user profile is created, and the data does not include your name, email address, or any other means of personally identifying you. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
When the App hits an error, a crash report is sent to Sentry so the problem can be fixed. A report contains technical diagnostics only: the error and its stack trace, the App version, and the device and OS type. Personally identifying information is explicitly disabled and not sent. The three services named above (PostHog, Sentry, and the recitation audio CDN) are the only third parties the App contacts. The App integrates no advertising networks, no social media SDKs, and no tracking or profiling services, and it never sells or shares your data.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this link with a new "last updated" date.
